The Dutch Alley Artist's Co-op was founded in 2003 by Ric Rolston as a cooperative artist's gallery.
The gallery is managed and operated by the artists themselves. This ensures that each visitor is
greeted and assisted by the artist members, providing their unique perspectives on the displayed work.
Located in the Historic French Market just steps from the Mississippi River and named for Dutch Morial
(New Orleans' first African-American mayor) Dutch Alley shares an old world promenade with benches
and bronze sculptures of French Quarter characters from past centuries. Live Gospel, Blues and Jazz
concerts are presented free of charge next door at the National Park Service.
We are extremely proud of our members and the quality of work represented by our gallery. Both
locals and visitors will find the creative heart of New Orleans by stepping through the doorway of
Dutch Alley Artist's Co-op.
